Mercedes-Benz hook loaders are a popular choice for MHF customers. With a reputation for robust construction and a handy increased payload, these trucks are a great solution to the demands of busy waste management businesses.
Mercedes-Benz hook loaders are available in two models: the Atego and the Arocs.
The Atego hook loader comes from a range of rigid trucks intended for a wide range of uses. The latest model, introduced in 2013 is available from 6.5 tonnes to 16 tonnes with engine models available as either 4 or 6 cylinder configurations. These engines are all compliant with the Euro VI emissions standard.
The Euro VI (or Euro 6) standards are a set of emissions standards introduced by the European Union and aimed at vehicle manufacturers which have been set out to limit harmful vehicle emissions and keep those emissions below specific limits.

The Mercedes-Benz Arocs is an HGV introduced to the market in 2013 and aimed more specifically at the construction sector. The Arocs range has two main models, the “Loader” and the “Grounder”, both of which are designed with robustness and functionality in mind to cope with the rigours of work both on and off-road.
As with the Atego, all Arocs hook loaders are Euro VI compliant.
