Our hook loader bins, which are larger than traditional skips are all suitable for use in both the commercial and industrial sectors, where large volumes of waste and recycling materials require transportation.
The larger the hookloader skip or bin that you can accommodate, the greater quantity of waste can be moved per load. This will reduce the time that your vehicle spends on the road. This is good for business, lowering your operating costs and is also great news for the environment: fewer journeys means lower emissions.
We stock RORO skips and bins ranging from 20 yards to 40 yards, which have a capacity from 15 m3 to 30.6 m3.
The size of Roll On Roll Off skip you need will be determined firstly by the capacity of your truck. You also need to consider the area that your vehicle will be working in. Larger rigs will need more room for manoeuvre, so working conditions must be taken in to account.
As a rough guide a 20-yard hookloader skip will hold 160-200 bin bags whilst a 40-yard skip will hold 350-400 bin bags. By comparison, a standard 4-yard Roll On Roll Off skip will have the capacity to hold 30-40 bin bags of waste.
